Today's question:
Q: How would you rate the CR-V, Outback, and the refreshed Mazda CX-7 in overall package?
A: You probably can make your choice among those based heavily on driving chemistry. None's a bad car. The Mazda's zippy if you keep it revved. The Outback's just plain nice to drive. The CR-V has less driving appeal, but is a nice overall package if the blend of attributes meets your needs.

Hey, it was a natural question, especially since Dodge opened that door in a press release on Tuesday about a lap record set by a production Viper ACR at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (1:33.915; more on that in a minute). "When we have partners across the ocean who are known as the...

Koenigsegg backs out of deal to buy Saab
By Dale Jewett | 11/24/09, 11:16 am et

GM announced that the deal was off on Tuesday and gave no reason why the deal fell apart, nor did the automaker say what would happen to Saab.
In a statement, GM CEO Fritz Henderson said: "We're obviously very disappointed with the decision to pull out of the Saab purchase.
